The Columbia County Fire Department is dedicated to safe-guarding the lives, property and environment of our community through exceptional service utilizing education, preparedness, prevention and response to emergency incidents. An essential function of the department is to provide opportunities for a positive presence in the community. A strong emphasis is placed on connecting the Fire Department and the community together.
To get a copy of a report on an incident that happened to your vehicle, home, business (or in case of insurance companies, to an insured) please call 386 754 7057 Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. We will need the date and address of the incident to pull up the report. Under the Florida Sunshine Records law you may be charged $.15 per sheet for the report. Reports range between four and eight pages long. The charge for the report then would range between $.60 and $1.20. There may be an additional postage fee charged to mail the report or they may be picked up at our office, located at 370 SE Racetrack Lane Lake City, FL 32025. There is no charge for faxing the report. At this time we do not accept credit cards and reports can not be e-mailed.
